About Me

I have been engaged with Christian education since 2006. I've worked as a teacher, administrator, assessment coordinator, student activity and leadership program coordinator, and served as member of a Curriculum Team and Spiritual Development Teams in International Christian schools.

I've trained teachers in the different aspects of Christian education such as curriculum mapping, translating curriculum standards into lesson plans, Biblical Integration, and administration and interpretation of standardized tests,

I'm a Master's Degree holder in Education with emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University, Indiana, USA, and had the experience in three internationally known curricula - the International Baccalaureate, Cambridge, and the New South Wales curriculum of Australia.

It is my hope that with the knowledge, experience, and connections I have in Christian education, I will be able to help educators in their engagement with curriculum and instruction, assessments, school improvement, technology, spiritual formation program, and Biblical integration.

My Work

I created short videos of Biblical Truths that will serve as springboard for discussions for integrating Biblical truths into the lessons.

Created short discussion guides for the in-depth understanding of Biblical truths, enhancing teachers' and students' understanding about Biblical truths, and improving their ability in Biblical Integration into the lesson.

Spoke in an international symposium on Biblical Worldview Integration organized by Christian Schools Australia, November 2022...

I also trained teachers on how to integrate Biblical truths into the lessons here in the Philippines and in Indonesia.

Employed authentic activities and authentic assessments in my class to help students understand the real life applications of what they are learning in math.

Technology

I have the passion in the understanding and the responsible application of technology in education. Thus I try to explore and understand technologies so I will have an idea on how they can be applied responsibly to education. I am trying to understand and engage with Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, and Augmented Reality, which are seen to be the driving technology in education in the near future.

School Systems and Facilities Design

I had the exposure and experience working in beautifully designed classrooms and learning facilities, as well as experienced educational practices and school systems. With my background in engineering and arts and these experiences as an educator, I have developed the ability to design school facilities.
